Are we overcompeting ?

Well !! looks like this is the scene in my class . You talk to most of the guys and they will look as if how could everyone of them have had the brains to pass CEE and get into its elitest branch. But when you go beneath the exterior you get to know that zeal of over competition .

But the most important thing is how most of them are obsessed more with what others do and not with what they are doing themselves .
A friend of mine ... who is so much into this business of over-competition overdoes it to the extent that he even manipulates the checked answer sheets and increases his number (actually there are many such persons in our class).He can even argue that A has got this much marks for a wrong answer or B has been given this much just for the right process and that he is also entitled to these previleges like others and so rightful deserves these extra marks .You stand at the place and you can get a feel as if he is negotiating prices in a fish market . While few others are as if engaged in the all season business of Boot licking (TC gang as known in the hostel).... They go to every prof and try to bring to there notice their immaculate integrity,humility and good naturedness specially prepared and packaged for getting more and more benefits out of nothing they have. And Low and behold .. our respected teachers get ensnared into their nets so easily as if they have been waiting for it .
True has chankya said that "among all the weapons the weapon of sama is the shrewdest and most lethal"when even god could not resisit it .. then how can those lesser mortals .
Waise .. this total scenario is really amusing when you think with a sense of detached competition less attitude and all the more frustrating if you are yourself loosing the battle .After just 3 semesters i feel as if i have wizened a lot and can do research in human nature the most dangerous thing god ever tried to create and which ultimately got the better of him .
